Bhubaneswar/New Delhi, Oct 6: Sambalpur MP and former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years of continuous leadership, describing it as a journey defined by visionary governance, transformative reforms and sustained public trust.

Reacting to the Union Cabinet’s resolution congratulating the Prime Minister on his 25 years as head of government, Pradhan said the milestone represents much more than the passage of time and reflects the enduring impact of a leadership model rooted in the principles of “Nation First” and “Citizen First”.

In a post on social media platform X, the Sambalpur MP said PM Modi’s political journey, from leading Gujarat to steering the country at the national level, has been marked by a consistent commitment to governance, development and citizen-centric policymaking.

Twenty-five years of continuous leadership is more than a milestone. It is a journey shaped by ideas, decisions, reforms and public trust. From Gujarat to the national stage, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji has carried forward a consistent belief in Nation First and Citizen First. “Twenty-five years of continuous leadership is more than a milestone. It is a journey shaped by ideas, decisions, reforms and public trust,” Pradhan said.

He noted that the Cabinet resolution recognised what he described as an extraordinary journey and its far-reaching influence across multiple sectors, including governance, economic development, technology, national security and India’s global standing.

Vision for Viksit Bharat

Pradhan also linked the Prime Minister’s leadership to the broader goal of building a developed India by 2047, popularly articulated as the vision of Viksit Bharat. According to him, the past 25 years have laid the groundwork for a long-term national transformation driven by development, innovation and inclusive growth.

The remarks came a day after the Union Cabinet passed a special resolution marking Prime Minister Modi’s uninterrupted tenure as head of government, beginning with his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and continuing through his leadership at the Centre.

The resolution highlighted key achievements in welfare delivery, infrastructure development, digital transformation, national security, women’s empowerment and India's expanding global influence.

Describing the period as a defining chapter in contemporary India’s governance story, Pradhan said the Prime Minister’s vision continues to guide the country’s march towards becoming a developed nation by the centenary of Independence.
