Bhubaneswar, June 9: Newly elected Lok Sabha MP From Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan is likely to be inducted into the Council of Union Ministers led by Narendra Modi who is scheduled to be sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time in a row this evening. 

The indication about Pradhan's induction came after the tea party meeting hosted by Modi at his residence in New Delhi this morning. It is a tradition that Modi calls those to the tea party whom he picks as members of the Council of Ministers. 

According to party sources, Pradhan is likely to be given an important portfolio in the Modi 3.0 Cabinet given his long experience and marvellous performance as a Union Minister in different departments. 

Pradhan served the nation as a Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister for many years. During his sting as PNG Minister, Pradhan introduced the most popular Ujjwala scheme which gives free LPG connection to poor women. Pradhan is known as Ujjwala Man across the Country. Crores women got relief from hazardous smoke during cooking as they were given LPG connection free of cost. 

Pradhan served the nation as Union Education Minister as well. He played a vital role in executing New Education Policy across the country.
