New Delhi, Nov 8: Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday inaugurated "Hamari Balvatika” at Shastri Bhawan, a project aimed at the transformation of crèche facilities for children of his colleagues working at the Bhawan from across the Ministries.
The "Hamari Balvatika" has been created with the aim to ensure the well-being of office staff from across the Ministries and their children in mind, serving as a testament to commitment to work-life balance.
The crèche offers modern amenities and colorful play areas, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for the little ones.
The model is designed as a Jadui Pitara, equipped with age-appropriate learning materials, providing children access to a joyful learning environment with proper care and stimulation.
In a post on X, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan appreciated the Ministry of Education for this wonderful initiative to support employees, empower working mothers and parents, help women workforce put career on par with family as well as strengthen early childhood care.

Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also visited the work spaces/corridors of the Ministry of Education spruced up with artworks depicting themes from the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) as part of Special Campaign 3.0.

These pieces of art showcase various programs and initiatives, such as PM SHRI, PM POSHAN, Jadui Pitara, PM-eVidya, Multidisciplinary Higher Education, Manodarpan, Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence, and more, officials said.
