Patna, Nov 20: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday extended warm congratulations to JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar on being sworn in for the tenth time as Chief Minister of Bihar. He also congratulated Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha on assuming office as Deputy Chief Ministers.
A total of 27 Ministers, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, took oath as Ministers in the new Bihar government.

Pradhan took to his official X handle to convey his greetings, praising Nitish Kumar’s leadership and expressing optimism about Bihar’s future under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He also congratulated Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with other NDA leaders who took oath as part of the new Council of Ministers.
In his message, Pradhan highlighted the vision of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that Bihar is
entering a new era of development and good governance. He emphasized
commitments to farmers’ welfare, women’s empowerment, youth employment, skill
development, and protection of the rights of marginalized communities.

NDA’s Electoral Victory
In the recently concluded Bihar assembly polls, NDA had
achieved a landslide victory by winning 202 seats in the 243-member House. In
NDA, BJP registered victory on 89 assembly seats, JD(U) on 85 seats, LJP(R) on
19, Hindustani Awam Morcha on 5, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha on 4 assembly
segments. The opposition’s Mahagathbandhan won only 35 seats in the election.

Pradhan’s Role in Bihar Elections
