New Delhi, Aug 2: Devotees thronged the Gauri Shankar Temple in Delhi's Chandni Chowk to offer prayers on the occasion of Shivratri in the holy month of Sawan on Friday morning.

The devotees flocked to the temple premises to present offerings to Lord Shiva and express their reverence and seek divine blessings in their lives.

People can be seen performing the Jalabhishekam and offering curd, milk, honey, panchamruta Bel leaves, flowers and sandalwood paste to the Shiva Linga at the temple.

Devotees also offered prayers at Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Kankhal, Haridwar on the occasion of Shivratri in the holy month of 'saavan'.
