New Delhi, Sep 12: In a landmark ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning, CP Radhakrishnan was officially sworn in as the 15th Vice President of India. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office in the presence of senior political leaders, dignitaries, and members of Parliament.

A seasoned politician from Tamil Nadu, Radhakrishnan previously served as the Governor of Maharashtra, and has long-standing ties with the RSS and BJP, having begun his political journey in the Jana Sangh during the 1970s.

Following the swearing-in, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Radhakrishnan, praising his lifelong commitment to public service and expressing confidence in his ability to uphold constitutional values and enrich parliamentary discourse.
