Malkangiri, Jan 18: In a tragic incident, a bus carrying a patient from Malkangiri met with an accident near Visakhapatnam leaving two persons dead.
As per the report, the bus was on its way to Anil Neerukonda Hospital in Visakhapatnam when tragedy struck.
The accident reportedly took place due to dense fog as the bus driver couldn't see the truck, which was standing due to mechanical problems.
The bus, carrying approximately 30 passengers, hit the truck late Friday night resulting in two deaths.
The deceased have been identified as Subrat Ray and his younger daughter. Subrat was a native of MV-58 village under Malkangiri District Field block.
Subrat was the BJP booth secretary of MV-58 booth and he was also a BJP youth leader of District field circle.
