Kota, Feb 8: At least two people were killed and several others injured after a building collapsed in the Jawahar Nagar area of Rajasthan’s Kota on Saturday, a source said.
According to the source, around 20 people, including students, were trapped under the debris when the structure came down. Rescue teams pulled out two critically injured persons and rushed them to the medical college hospital for treatment.

He said he is “continuously monitoring the rescue and relief operations.”
Birla spoke to the District Collector and the city Superintendent of Police, directing them to expedite rescue efforts and ensure proper medical treatment for the injured.
He emphasised coordinated action by all agencies. Birla’s officer on special duty, Rajiv Dutta, is present at the site overseeing the situation.
