Foundation Stones and Inaugurations
On the occasion, Minister Shah laid the foundation stone for three residential complexes in Kamrup, Nashik, and Sehore, worth Rs 890 crore, while inaugurating two completed complexes in Rajarhat and Delhi. He emphasized that these projects will provide improved facilities for CISF personnel and their families.

✨Reflecting on CISF’s 56-year journey, the Home Minister said the force has risen “from zero to the pinnacle” in industrial security. He noted that CISF has continuously evolved by embracing modern technology while preserving its traditions. Over the years, the force has been recognized with 13,693 medals for gallantry and distinguished service.
Expanding Responsibilities
Shah announced that CISF will now secure all ports across India, adding to its responsibility of guarding 70 airports and 361 institutions. He highlighted CISF’s role as the nodal agency for drone security and its involvement in major projects such as Noida International Airport, Bhakra Dam, and Kartavya Bhavan.
Commitment Against Naxalism
The Home Minister reiterated the government’s resolve to make India free from Naxalism by March 31, 2026. He credited CISF’s contributions in anti-Naxal operations in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana, expressing confidence that extremist ambitions will be defeated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
