BJP National President JP Nadda Takes A Swipe At 'Communal Nationalism Representative' Congress

Bhubaneswar, Sept 26: BJP National President JP Nadda took a dig at Congress, terming the party as a 'representative of communal nationalism' while addressing the BJP's Membership Campaign programme here, Thursday.
Nadda paid floral tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at AG Square after arriving at the Capital City. "Paid floral tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha," wrote Nadda in a post in his 'X' (formerly Twitter) handle.
"His unwavering advocacy for social justice and the empowerment of oppressed communities continues to inspire our efforts for equality," the post adds.
Later he headed to attend the Membership Campaign programme. During his speech, after congratulating the eminent personalities of the society on joining the BJP, JP Nadda compared BJP's work ethics to Congress' politics.
"Having a National Party President, a Chief Minister and a state unit President together on a single stage, that to for a membership forum, you won't see it in parties like Congress," stated Nadda.
Notably, JP Nadda shared the stage with CM Mohan Charan Majhi and Odisha's state unit President Manmohan Samal at the programme.
"After elections in regions, districts and states, the chairman election will be held at the national level," said the Health Minister, adding: " Here (in BJP), sons of leaders do not become leaders."

JP Nadda then took a swipe at Congress over Article 370. "Congress is the representative of communal nationalism," said the BJP National President.
Continuing his attack on the Congress, Nadda said, "They have joined hands with Pakistan to reimpose Article 370."
Explaining the positives, Nadda said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are voting in the assembly for the first time since the eviction of Article 370.
He also shared his views on 'Triple Talaq'. Notably, the Supreme Court gave its verdict to end the 'Triple Talaq' system.
Justifying the Supreme Court verdict, JP Nadda said, "There is no system of triple talaq in Muslim countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iraq."

✨"But in India, women were deprived of their rights through triple talaq. With the abolition of triple talaq, minority women got their rights," he said further.
Speaking on the Membership Campaign, he said that BJP has already got six crore members.
Nadda also slammed Congress for creating a false agenda over inflation in the country. "India has become the fifth largest economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it will soon become the third largest economy in the world," said Nadda.
Sharing a glimpse of the development made by the Modi government, JP Nadda said, "About 97 per cent of mobiles are now manufactured in the country.
"India has become the third largest country in the field of toy exports. It has become the third largest country in the field of automobiles," he added. "But the Congress repeatedly talks about inflation and price rise in various sectors," Nadda said further.
The Health Minister also spoke about the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. "Nearly 12 crore 36 lakh families are getting universal health coverage through Ayushman Bharat Yojana," he said.
"People are getting medical assistance up to Rs 5 lakh. Six crore senior citizens above 70 years will be served through Ayushman Bharat Yojana," stated JP Nadda, saying that this is the right time to join BJP and become a member.
CM Majhi Terms Membership Campaign As 'BJP's Biggest Programme'
CM Majhi has urged the people to join BJP's Membership Campaign to strengthen the party organisation.
"The Prime Minister called for a double engine government in Odisha. The people of Odisha showed their faith and believed in PM Modi and BJP, and formed the government," said CM Majhi.
"If the number of members (through Membership Campaign) in the state increases, the party organisation will be strengthened," he added.
Speaking about the campaign, the Chief Minister said, "BJP has now become the No. 1 party, thanks to the blessings of people in Odisha. BJP now aims to achieve 1 crore membership mark.
"PM Modi has decided to build a prosperous Odisha and a developed India by 2036. And the Membership Campiagn will definitely play a massive role for this goal," concluded CM Majhi.
