The minister offered his condolences and held discussions with hospital authorities regarding the victim's medical condition. He also prayed to Lord Jagannath for her swift recovery.
The victim is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of the Burns and Plastic Surgery Department and remains on oxygen support, with her condition described as critical by doctors. A specialized medical team is closely monitoring her progress.
The incident has prompted a thorough investigation. The Director General of Police inspected the crime scene and later met the victim's family. A scientific team comprising ten members has collected evidence from the site, which is being analyzed to determine the circumstances of the attack.
In a prompt response, the Odisha government arranged for the victim’s transfer from AIIMS Bhubaneswar to Delhi via an air ambulance and green corridor, ensuring timely medical care. The state has committed to covering all treatment costs.
