New Delhi, Sept 17: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev held a press conference in New Delhi, unveiling three major national initiatives aimed at education, healthcare, and wellness.
The most notable announcement was the launch of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Pratibha Puraskar’, a scholarship and recognition programme by Patanjali Yogpeeth. Students securing the top three ranks in Class 10 and 12 board exams across CBSE, Bharatiya Shiksha Board, and all state boards will be awarded cash prizes of ₹51,000, ₹21,000, and ₹11,000 respectively.
In a bid to promote public health and holistic wellness, Baba Ramdev also announced the organization of 750 free medical check-up and yoga health camps across the country. These camps will offer diagnostic services and yoga-based therapies to citizens, especially in underserved regions.

✨The third initiative focuses on liver health. Patients suffering from conditions like fatty liver and liver cirrhosis will be provided free Ayurvedic medicines through dedicated health camps. This move is expected to benefit thousands of individuals struggling with chronic liver issues.
Speaking at the event, Baba Ramdev praised Prime Minister Modi’s journey from humble beginnings to national leadership, calling it a “living example of determination and patriotism.” He emphasized that these initiatives reflect the Prime Minister’s vision of a self-reliant India and his commitment to Swadeshi and Make in India movements.
“These programmes are not just tributes — they are tools to empower youth, heal the sick, and strengthen the nation,” Ramdev said.
