Malkangiri, June 1: Security forces have successfully defused 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) reportedly planted by Maoists targeting personnel in the dense Abujhmarh forest along the Chhattisgarh-Malkangiri border.

According to reports, security forces recovered the IEDs during a search operations in the region.

The explosives were swiftly neutralised by specialised bomb disposal teams. Following this, security forces further strengthened their search operations to ensure safety in the area.
