Amrit Udyan To Welcome Visitors Or Summer Annuals From August 16 To September 14

New Delhi, Aug 2: The Summer Annuals of Amrit Udyan, nestled within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, will be open to the public from August 16 to September 14, 2025, offering a month-long opportunity to explore one of Delhi’s most iconic green spaces, officials said on Saturday.

 

Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:15 PM), the Udyan will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance. Entry is free of cost, and visitors can book slots online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or register at Self-Service Kiosks outside Gate No. 35, near North Avenue Road.

 

To commemorate National Sports Day and Teachers’ Day, special access will be granted to athletes and sportspersons on August 29 and teachers on September 5, respectively.

 

This year’s highlight is the newly introduced Babbling Brook, a landscaped zone featuring:

A meandering water stream with cascades, sculptural spouts, stepping stones, and a reflecting pool

The garden trail includes Bal Vatika, Herbal Garden, Bonsai Garden, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden, enhanced with QR codes to provide digital insights into plant species and design elements.

 

Visitors are permitted to carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas. All other items are restricted for security and preservation purposes.

 

Amrit Udyan continues to be a symbol of India’s horticultural heritage, blending nature, design, and serenity in the heart of the capital.
