Malkangiri, May 31: In a breakthrough, the security personnel in Chhattisgarh arrested as many as 16 hardcore Maoists yesterday.
According to the information, the DGR and the CRPF conducted a joint operation in Bijapur Kotabalia police station limits when they arrested 11 Maoists. Similarly, the security personnel arrested five Naxals from the Asura police station area.
The arrested Maoists had been involved in violent acts at different places in Chhattisgarh, according to the Chhattisgarh police.
