Nayagarh, Nov 13: At least 13 persons were injured in a group clash that erupted over political rivalry at Kumbarpada village under Khandapada police station limits in Nayagarh district late on Sunday night. 

People belonging to both groups hurled bombs at each other. As a result, 13 people were injured in the incident. 

On being informed, police reached the spot and rushed the injured persons to Gania Hospital. The condition of the two injured persons, Ranjit Naik and Jitu Naik is critical. While Ranjit has received injuries in his leg, Jitu has got deep wounds on his hands. The two have been shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. 

Adequate police forces have been deployed in the village, keeping in view the tense situation.
