People reject jungle raj and caste politics, choosing development.

Patna/Bhubaneswar, Nov 14: The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 have delivered a resounding verdict in favour of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). With the BJP–JD(U) combine surging past the majority mark, BJP’s in-charge for Bihar elections and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their overwhelming support.

Pradhan’s Message to the People

In a post on X, Pradhan thanked Bihar’s “Devatuly Janata” (God-like people) for reaffirming their trust in the NDA. He emphasized that the mandate reflects the people’s preference for development, good governance, and stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He noted that voters had clearly rejected “jungle raj, casteism, dynastic politics, and negative agendas,” choosing instead the path of progress and a “Viksit Bihar” (Developed Bihar).

Leadership Recognition

Congratulating PM Modi, CM Nitish Kumar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and the Bihar state leadership, Pradhan described the victory as historic and decisive. He reaffirmed that the NDA’s “double-engine government” has received a strong endorsement for its welfare-oriented policies.

NDA’s Commanding Lead

According to the latest trends, the NDA is leading in over 200 of the 243 seats, ensuring a comfortable majority. The Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD and Congress, has suffered a major setback, struggling to cross 40 seats, while Congress is ahead in only one constituency. The Jan Suraaj Party has managed a marginal presence.
