Patna/Bhubaneswar, Nov 14: The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 have
delivered a resounding verdict in favour of the National Democratic Alliance
(NDA). With the BJP–JD(U) combine surging past the majority mark, BJP’s
in-charge for Bihar elections and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
on Friday expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their overwhelming
support.

Pradhan’s Message to the People
In a post on X, Pradhan thanked Bihar’s “Devatuly Janata” (God-like people) for reaffirming their trust in the NDA. He emphasized that the mandate reflects the people’s preference for development, good governance, and stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He noted that voters had clearly rejected “jungle raj, casteism, dynastic politics, and negative agendas,” choosing instead the path of progress and a “Viksit Bihar” (Developed Bihar).

✨Pradhan highlighted the tireless efforts of NDA workers who
reached “every village and every household” to communicate the alliance’s
vision. He said this victory was the result of their dedication and the
people’s trust, which strengthens the NDA’s resolve to continue delivering
welfare and growth.

Leadership Recognition
Congratulating PM Modi, CM Nitish Kumar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and the Bihar state leadership, Pradhan described the victory as historic and decisive. He reaffirmed that the NDA’s “double-engine government” has received a strong endorsement for its welfare-oriented policies.
NDA’s Commanding Lead
According to the latest trends, the NDA is leading in over 200 of the 243 seats, ensuring a comfortable majority. The Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD and Congress, has suffered a major setback, struggling to cross 40 seats, while Congress is ahead in only one constituency. The Jan Suraaj Party has managed a marginal presence.
