Kathmandu, Sep 9: Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli resigned on Tuesday following two days of intense youth-led protests that have plunged the Himalayan nation into political crisis. The resignation came hours after demonstrators breached Parliament, torched the Prime Minister’s private residence in Balkot, and defied curfews across the Kathmandu Valley.
