New Delhi, May 12: India is set to host the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on May 14–15, with External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar chairing the high-level discussions. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that foreign ministers and heads of delegations from BRICS member and partner countries will participate in the sessions and also call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal announced that the meeting will provide a platform for ministers to exchange views on pressing global and regional issues. “India will host the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on 14th and 15th May 2026. On the second day, the discussions will focus on the theme “BRICS at 20: Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.” This will be followed by a session on reforms of global governance and the multilateral system.
