Elon Musk's X to Donate Ad Revenue to War-Torn Gaza and Israeli Hospitals

New Delhi, Nov 22: In a groundbreaking move, Elon Musk's social media platform, X, formerly Twitter, has pledged to donate all advertising and subscription revenue associated with the conflict in Gaza. The funds will be directed towards supporting hospitals in Israel and the Red Cross/Crescent in Gaza. This announcement follows the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict, leaving hospitals, including Gaza's largest, Al Shifa, struggling to operate due to shortages of critical supplies.
The donation initiative comes amid intense clashes between the Israel Defence Force and Hamas, the ruling authority in Gaza, resulting in over 13,000 casualties from Israeli bombardments in the densely populated Gaza Strip. Israel asserts that Hamas employs hospitals for military purposes, an allegation vehemently denied by both Hamas and hospital staff.

✨Elon Musk's commitment to humanitarian aid extends beyond this announcement. In the past month, Musk revealed that his satellite internet venture, Starlink, will provide connectivity to recognized aid organizations in Gaza. This lifeline aims to alleviate the communication challenges faced by aid efforts in the region due to severed internet connections.
