Centre Moves Swiftly to Resolve CBSE Result Glitches, Student Interests Top Priority: Dharmendra Pradhan

New Delhi: In a proactive move aimed at addressing concerns faced by CBSE Class 12 students after the declaration of board examination results, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday chaired a high-level review meeting at the CBSE Headquarters in New Delhi.
The meeting focused on issues related to evaluation, re-evaluation, digital access and post-result services, with the Centre reiterating that student welfare remains its foremost priority.
Addressing officials and stakeholders, the Minister asserted that the government stands firmly with students and assured that every genuine concern related to CBSE Class 12 results would be resolved effectively and expeditiously. “Students’ interests are our priority, and all issues will be resolved,” Shri Pradhan said during the review.
The meeting
was attended by Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy Shri
Sanjay Kumar, CBSE Chairperson Shri Rahul Singh, IIT Madras Director Prof. V.
Kamakoti, IIT Kanpur Director, senior officials from the Ministry of Education
and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, along with representatives from major public
sector banks including SBI, Indian Bank, Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank.

✨During the deliberations, the Minister directed officials to ensure timely, transparent and student-friendly resolution of all issues linked to the examination and post-result process. Discussions also focused on strengthening CBSE’s digital infrastructure, improving evaluation and monitoring systems and making examination-related services more accessible for students.
Officials
informed the Minister that nearly 18 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class
12 examinations this year, generating around 98 lakh answer sheets and nearly
40 crore scanned pages. So far, close to four lakh students have already
accessed nearly 11 lakh scanned answer sheets through the online portal.
Expert Solution for Glitches
Taking serious note of reports regarding login failures, heavy server load and payment-related glitches, the Ministry has constituted an expert technical committee comprising professors from IIT Madras and digital system specialists. The committee has been tasked with reviewing portal stability, server capacity, login management and payment gateway integration to ensure seamless services for students.
Reaffirming
the government’s commitment to a transparent and technology-driven examination
system, Minister Pradhan warned that strict action would be taken against any
lapses or negligence within or outside the system. The Ministry of Education,
he added, is closely monitoring the entire situation to ensure that students do
not face unnecessary hardship.
