Bhubaneswar, Mar 23: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has officially announced the schedule for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026, sparking anticipation and anxiety among aspiring candidates.
According to the notification, the OTET 2026 examination will be held on May 29, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.bseodisha.nic.in between March 26 and April 9 (midnight). The board has clarified that details such as personal information, address, caste, and subject preferences submitted during registration cannot be altered later, urging candidates to exercise caution while filling out forms.
The admit cards will be available for download from May 15,
2026. Candidates must ensure timely submission of application forms and payment
of fees, which can be completed online until April 9 at 11:45 pm.

The exam will be conducted in two papers. Paper I will take place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, while Paper II will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Detailed guidelines, eligibility criteria, syllabus, and certificate formats are available on the BSE Odisha website.
