The boy, who was injured critically in the miscreants' attack, has been identified as Akash Singh. He has been admitted to the Capital Hospital with deep injuries.
According to the information, the youths, who abducted the girl, later made a phone call to Akash and demanded a huge amount of money for the release of the girl.

Acting on a complaint, the Commissionerate police have started raiding various locations to trace the girl.
