Bhubaneswar, Jul 13: Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous searches on Monday at seven locations linked to Sanjay Kumar Kispatta, Executive Engineer of Odisha Construction Corporation (OCC) Ltd., Bhubaneswar, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
The raids, conducted under search warrants issued by the Court of the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, are being led by six DSPs, eight Inspectors, seven ASIs, and other supporting staff.
Kispatta, formerly an Assistant Executive Engineer at ITDA, Koraput, is now under scrutiny for suspected accumulation of assets disproportionate to his earnings.

The Vigilance teams are searching the following premises:

✨- His rented residence at Tikra Sahi, behind Mutyalu Maa Temple, Koraput.
- A four-storeyed commercial building at Plot No. 71, Khata No. 125/2790, Mouza-Kumbha-I, Koraput Town.
- An under-construction residential house at Mouza-Kumbha-II, Koraput.
- His parental house at Village Lateimunda, PS-Lahunipada, Sundargarh district.
- An under-construction three-storeyed building at Lateimunda, Sundargarh.
- His residential quarter and office chamber at Bhubaneswar and Balangir.
The searches are continuing, with Vigilance officials examining documents, property records, and other evidence to ascertain the scale of alleged disproportionate assets.
Sources indicate that the operation is part of the state government’s intensified crackdown on corruption among public servants.
This latest action adds to a series of high-profile raids carried out by Odisha Vigilance in recent months, targeting officials across various departments.
The outcome of Monday’s searches will determine whether Kispatta faces further legal proceedings under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
