Bhograi, Jun 24: A shocking incident has surfaced in Komarda police station limits of Bhograi, where a tuition teacher has been accused of sexually assaulting an eighth‑grade minor girl.
The accused, identified as Anil Kumar Sahoo, had been working as a Gaon Sathi (village volunteer) while also conducting tuition classes for local children.
According to the complaint filed by the victim’s family, the incident occurred during a tuition session. Sahoo allegedly called the girl into a separate room under the pretext of applying medicine for a headache.

After sending her to fetch water, he reportedly locked the room upon her return and committed the crime. The family lodged a formal complaint with Komarda police, leading to immediate action.
