Cuttack, Jun 7: Unidentified miscreants hurled three bombs over past enemy at Sahanga Gopalpur village under Banki police station in Cuttack district late on Friday night.

According to reports, the incident took place at the house of one Golakh Jena of the village. The miscreant hurled three bombs in a row. While the windows and doors of the house were completely damaged following the attack, family members managed to escape unhurt.

Soon after the incident, the miscreants fled the spot.

Later, Golakh approached the local police station and lodged a complaint in this regard.

Based on the complaint, Banki IIC, along with the Sonepur police officials, reached the spot and launched a probe into the matter.
