Cuttack, Nov 7: The Historic Baliyatra Cuttack–2025 has introduced a dazzling new attraction that’s captivating visitors of all ages — a live Mermaid Show inside a giant glass tank. For the first time in the festival’s history, two international performers from Indonesia and the Philippines are enchanting audiences with underwater stunts and graceful movements, bringing the mythical mermaid to life.

Held daily from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, the show features two young women performing synchronized aquatic routines inside a transparent tank. Visitors are pausing mid-walk to take selfies, record videos, and interact with the mermaids, who respond with playful gestures and waves. The ticket price for the show is Rs100, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Event organizer Mohammad Irshad shared, “This is the first time we’ve brought a Mermaid Show to Baliyatra. People are loving it, and the crowd keeps growing every day.”
