The Ambadola police have seized the skeleton of the woman.
According to information, Anusaya Pradhan of Kutraguda village under Kalahandi district’s Bishwanathpur police station had gone missing early this month. After failing to trace her, the family members lodged a complaint with the Ambadala police on September 3.
Some people saw a gunny bag lying unclaimed in the Balijodi jungle. They soon informed police about the susceptible bag. Later a team of police went to the spot and saw skeleton of a woman kept in the bag. Family members reportedly recognised the skeleton as of Anusaya.
Police have started investigation.
