Mumbai, March 4: Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon met Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu before commencing the shoot for their new horror comedy "Bhediya", along with the films unit.
Also present were Bamang Felix, Minister of Home and Interstate Affairs, Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and Commissioner to HCM Sonam Chombay.
The Amar Kaushik directorial also features Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal. "Bhediya" is scripted by National Award-winner Niren Bhatt.
Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan present, "Bhediya", which is slated to release in cinemas on April 14, 2022.

According to the social media buzz, Akshya may play an important role in the film. It is speculated that Akshya will be seen in the role of tunnel expert Arnold Dix in the film. However while there is no conformation from the actor, it is going viral on social media.

Not only this but the finalized name and location for the film is also going viral on social media. The film weill be titled Mission Surang. Arnold Dix was called into this operation. He is the President of the International Tunneling and Underground Space Association based in Australia.

Gajapati, Nov 30: A man killed his wife in Amarasingh village under Garabandha police station in Gajapati district. The deceased woman has been identified as Dusila Sabar. The man is identified as Gurunath Sabar.
According to sources, the woman died on the way to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). Her daughter Priyanka Sabar lodged an FIR against her husband.
According to information, Gurunath Sabar hit his wife to death. He has been detained by Garabandha police officials and investigation is underway.
As of now, no information about the reason behind the cold blooded murder is known. However, the possibility that Gurunath has committed the crime under the influence of alchol cannot be completely ruled out.

Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: Manisha Padhi, a woman Indian Air Force officer from Odisha, has been appointed India's first Woman Aide-De-Camp(ADC) from the Indian Armed Forces.
Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed Manisha Padhi, a 2015 batch Indian Air Force Officer, as India's first Woman Aide-De-Camp.
A native of Berhampur in Odisha, Padhi is an alumnus of the CV Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar.
Her parents still reside in Bhubaneswar.
Earlier, Padhi was posted at Air Force Station in Bidar, Air Force Station in Pune, and Air Force Station in Bhatinda.
“Her appointment is not just a milestone but a testament to the power of women breaking gender norms and excelling in different fields. Let’s celebrate this remarkable achievement and continue to champion women’s empowerment in every sphere,” Governor Kambhampati wrote on his X handle.
