The accused have been identified as Kartik Sethi, a peon by profession and a resident of the district and the other as Batakrushna Bhoi, a resident Nalihana village of the district.
According to sources, the duo was targeting the job seeking youths and reportedly duped lakhs of money from them.

Besides, the duo assured the job seekers by giving them fake appointment letters from Shree Jagannath Medical College & Hospital.
The duo went absconding after taking the money from the job seekers. The applicants tried several times to contact the duo, but their effort was in vain.
Suspecting something fishy, the victims lodge a written complaint in the Brhamagiri police station.
The police swung into action as per the written complaint and managed to apprehend the accused duo today.
They have been forwarded to the court after their arrest, informed the Inspector In-Charge (IIC) of Brahmagari police station.
