Rishabh Pant Reveals PM Modi’s Call To Mother After Accident Made Him ‘Relax Mentally’

Entertainment company Banijay Asia has signed a deal with distributor All3Media International, acquiring the rights to create a local adaptation, reports variety.com.

Written by Harry and Jack Williams, “The Tourist” has Dornan playing a man who wakes up in Australia with amnesia after a near-fatal car crash.

“Seeking answers, he encounters a local woman who remembers him and volunteers to help him rediscover his identity,” the logline said. 

The logline further read: “What few clues he can find hint that he has a dark past from which he must escape before it catches up with him.”

The second season of the show, which launched earlier this year, sees the characters relocate to Ireland as the mystery deepens.

The original series was produced by Two Brothers Pictures and Highview Productions.

Banijay Asia has previously adapted shows including “The Night Manager,” “Call My Agent” and “The Trial”.

“We just completed a gruelling two-week camp in SAI, Bengaluru and after a short detour in Switzerland with Mike Horn, who is reputed for his extreme adventures that conquer his fears, the team will play some practice matches against the Netherlands and Malaysia to ensure we are in the best state of mind and body before we begin our Olympic journey. India will begin their Paris 2024 Olympics journey, in Pool B, with a match against New Zealand July 27, followed by a match against Argentina July 29. They will then face Ireland and Belgium July 30 and August 1, respectively, with their final group stage game against Australia August 2. A top-4 finish will ensure that India advances to the knockout stages.

“The team has prepared well so far, we identified areas that needed improvement from the London and Antwerp stages of FIH Pro League 2023/24 and worked on it in the training camp in SAI Bengaluru. The best teams in the world will take part in the Paris 2024 Olympics but this squad is ready to seize the opportunity and bring glory to India. We are confident in our abilities and excited about the journey ahead," added vice-captain Hardik Singh.

India has historically been a force to reckon with in hockey and has won 12 medals to date which include 8 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

Nasir, a veteran Pakistani actor, who has recently served as Director General of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad, and has been awarded many prestigious recognitions including Pride of Pakistan, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Best Actor, has expressed his disappointment over the lack of recognition for not being given due credit by King Khan for his own contribution.

In an interview on Youtube Channel "Zabardast With Wasi Shah" on Monday, Tauqeer Nasir revealed that Shah Rukh Khan would often praise his work and would send his regards to various people.

“Shah Rukh Khan is a talented actor. But it's disappointing to see the lack of recognition for my contribution from his side”, he said.

When asked about the movie in which Shah Rukh Khan allegedly copied his work, Nasir said: “Shahrukh’s role in the film 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' was a direct copy of his character from the drama 'Parwaaz',” he claimed in the interview.

“Even the detail of an injured leg, depicted in the film, was borrowed from my portrayal in the drama,” he added.

“‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ was essentially based on the story of Parwaaz, written by the renowned author Mustansar Hussain Tarar. Shah Rukh Khan should have given due credit for his inspiration," said Tauqeer Nasir.

Nasir went a step ahead and even called out filmmaker Karan Johar for not giving due credit to him and Mustansar Hussain Tarar for his inspiration.

“Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna”, a romantic drama released in 2006. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Kirron Kher. The film explores themes of marital infidelity and dysfunctional relationships.
