According to information, a group of ruling party workers forcibly entered the booth and influenced voters to cast votes in favour of their party candidate. As they didn’t listen, they captured the booth.
They manhandled some youths who were shooting video of their hooliganism. A few BJD followers were seeing shooting video of the booth. They attempted to attack Argus News reporter as he tried to videos-shoot their illegal act.
Notably, voting started at all 319 booths in Padampur at 7 am today. A total of 2.57 lakh voters are scheduled to cast votes to decide the fates of 10 candidates, including BJP’s Pradeep Purohit, BJD’s Barsha Singh Bariha and Congress’ Satyabhushan Sahu.
