The identity of the deceased youth is yet to be ascertained.
According to the informaiton, the youth was crossing the road when a truck hit him. While the truck sped up, a Tata AC, which was coming behind the truck, dragged the youth to about 30 metres. The youth died on the spot.
On being informed, the local Traffic police reached the spot and started an investigation. The crops are now interrogating the youth and trying to locate the truck. After the identify of the youth is ascertained, postmortem will be conducted on the body, sources said.
