Speaking on the development following her visit to London, DY CM Parida said that soon a new chapter will begin in Odisha tourism, adding that many investers are eager to invest in the state's tourism industry to promote Odisha's arts and culture.
"Odisha's performance at the World Tourism Mart was wonderful. As many as 14 states of India were taking part in the event," said Dy CM Parida.
She also revealed that she had a talk with the Union Minister over the pending projects in Odisha. "Three rounds of meetings were held with the London-based Indian diaspora having their roots connected to Odisha who are involved in Odisha tourism," stated the Dy CM.

"I met a 90-year-old artist, Prafulla Mohanty, who lives in London and showcasing Odisha's art and culture," added Pravati Parida, who is also the Minister of Women and Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism.
The Tourism Minister also shared that she had a talk with many tourist guides. "A new chapter in Odisha tourism will begin very soon," an optimistic Parida stated.
Speaking about the meeting with the investors, the Tourism Minister said that she has held talks with multiple investors over investing in Odisha tourism.

"We have had a talk with Pramod Mittal. Many investors are eager to invest in Odisha tourism and they will visit the state soon," said Dy CM Parida. Pramod Mittal is an Indian businessman who was the chairman of Ispat Industries Limited (now JSW Ispat Steel). He is the younger brother of Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, the executive chairman of ArcelorMittal.
The Tourism Minister said that the London visit will certainly give a new direction to the development of infrastructure of Odisha tourism.
About Subhadra Yojana
Women and Child Development Minister Parida has also revealed that the third phase disbursement of the first instalment of the Odisha government's flagship scheme -- SUbhadra Yojana -- will be released November 24.
The amount of Rs 5,000 will be released at a special event in Sundargarh. "More than 20 lakh benificiaries will get the amount," said Dy CM Pravati Parida.
