President Droupadi Murmu stated this while gracing as chief guest at the 50th annual day of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in Odisha held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium here today.
The President expressed happiness in attending the annual day.
"Human souls epitomize peace and love. We have to change our minds and soul. From where we have come and to where we have to go. Who we are. We have to understand all these aspects from within. Because we have to live in peace and make our society peaceful," opined the President.
Stating that the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya teaches all these to society, the President said, "We have to remain unmoved in a state of movement. We have to control ourselves and find peace in ourselves."
On the occasion, President Murmu talked about the importance of women while terming them 'Shakti Swarupini'.
Without Parvati, Shiva is Shaba; without Laxmi, there is no existence of Narayan and without Radha, Krishna is meaningless. Women and 'Shakti Swaripini', she stated.
She urged the sisters of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya to expedite their mission of working for peace among individuals and society at large.
Sister Dr. Kamalesh Didi, who had laid the foundation of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in Odisha along with the then governor BD Jati and Dr. Harekrushna Mahtab 50 years ago, was present on the occasion.
Among others, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das attended the programme.
