Pana Sankranti will be celebrated on April 14 in the Shrimandir. Mukta Mandap Pandit Sabha members put the stamp on the final decision on this matter.

Puri, Feb 12: Pana Sankranti will be celebrated on April 14 in the Shrimandir. Mukta Mandap Pandit Sabha members put the stamp on the final decision on this matter.

On the other hand, Almanac makers of Samant Chandra Sekhar lectionary are yet to agree on the decision.
They still remained firm on their decision i.e Pana Sankranti on April 13.

According to 1959 and 1971-72 lectionary, 13-day-long 'Anabasara Niti' will be observed in Shrimandir.
The Anabasara ritual will be observed on a counting basis.

According to the information, On Shri Gundicha Jatra 'Netrotsav' and 'Ubha Jatra' will be observed, which falls on July 7 this year.
