The Vikash Mela, launched by respective district administrations, to mark the successful completion of the new BJP government, will run for three days. Ministers inaugurated the events at different places.
The programme organised at Kacheri Padia was graced by Fisheries and Animal Resources and SMSE Minister Gokulanananda Mallick as chief guest. He asserted that Boudh district will witness growth and Odisha will be made a Viksit State in the coming days. Efforts have been initiated to achieve the goal.
The Vikash Mela at Nuapada was presided over by District Collector Madhusudan Das. Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Khuntia, gracing the occasion as chief guest, said the country will be developed when women are empowered.
Panchayati Raj Minister Rabinarayan Naik inaugurated Vikash Mela at Sambalpur. Local MLA Jayanarayan Mishra, RDC Sachin Ramchandra Yadav, District Collector Siddheswar Balaram Bondar, and SMC Commissioner Bedbushan graced the occasion. On the occasion, Minister Naik highlighted various programmes undertaken by the State government in the last 100 days. He asserted that Odisha would be made a migrant labour-free State in the coming days.
Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo graced as chief guest at the Vikash Mela in Cuttack. He slammed the Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his failure in protecting women and people and ridiculed his demand for a judicial probe in the Bharatpur police station incident.
He claimed that the Mohan Majhi government has taken prompt action in the incident where as the Naveen Patnaik government sat over innumerable incidents during the last 24 years. He highlighed that the State government has fulfilled promises and is committed to making Odisha a Viksit State.
Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling graced the Vikash Mela at Bolangir. He said the BJP Government is committed to making Odisha a Viksit Odisha by 2036. Bolangir MP Sangita Singh Deo, Rajya Sabha MP Niranjan Bisi, Titilagarh MLA Nabin Jain, and Kantabanji MLA Laxman Bag were present.
Higher Education Minister graced as chief guest at the Vikash Mela, Bhadrak. MP Abhimanya Sethi, Sitanshu Sekhar Mohapatra, and others were present.
