The STF officials also arrested Girish Kumar Sahoo Harabhanga village under Harabhanga police station limits in Boudh district.
On the basis of reliable information, a team of STF conducted raid with the help of Forest Officials of Boudh Forest Division on Saturday evening on the public road connecting from Chhatranga to Harabhanga regarding possession of wildlife products by miscreants.
During search, one leopard skin, two deer skin and other incriminating materials were recovered from his possession. The accused person could not produce any authority in support of possession of such leopard skin & deer skins, for which he has been apprehended, said STF officials.
A case under Section 379, 411, 120(B) of IPC and Section 51 of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 has been registered and the accused would be forwarded to the Court, said an official.
