Sanjay Nayak, whose body was found hanging at his official quarters at Bhawanipatna in Odisha's Kalahandi district, reportedly committed suicide due to mental torture meted out to him by Rayagada DFO Debendra Behera.
Bhawanipatna, Sept 19: Sanjay Nayak, whose body was found hanging at his official quarters at Bhawanipatna in Odisha's Kalahandi district, reportedly committed suicide due to mental torture meted out to him by Rayagada DFO Debendra Behera.
Nayak was posted at the Jaring Research Centre
The deceased's wife Priyanka Subudhi alleges that her husband was forced to give Rs 20,000-30,000 to the DFO every month as PC.
The deceased's brother lodged a complaint with the Bhawanipatna Town police station in this regard.
