"A change is needed in Odisha, like Lord Jagannath's Nabakalebar, the state also needs Nabakalebara. The state needs a double-engine government. It is our responsibility to facilitate every Odisha resident to get the benefits of all the Central government schemes." said Pradhan.
The Union Education Minister also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for choosing him as the Lok Sabha candidate for the prestigious Sambalpur seat in Odisha.
On Sunday, the BJP announced the list of candidates for 18 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.
Pradhan along with BJP National spokesperson and party's Lok Sabha candidate from Puri constituency, Sambit Patra today visited Puri Jagannath temple and sought the blessings of the Holy Trinity ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
