"Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will distribute the DBT aid to women at an event at Baripada, the city of Maa Subhadra. The second phase will be a Dussehra gift to women," said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
The Deputy Chief Minister said those who will register names by October 7 will be given the 'Subhadra' aid of 5,000 in the second phase on October 9.
She urged all eligible women to register their names with the scheme without being in haste. She said no time limit was set to register names for the scheme.
He said as many as one crore women will be distributed Rs 5,000 each as the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana scheme.
Notably, 25 lakh women were given the first installment after the flagship scheme of the State government was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday on October 16.
