According to the Information and Public Relations Department, Khordha district registered the highest surge 70 cases followed by Kalahandi 43, Nuapada 40, Bargarh34, Sundargarh 31, Cuttack 27, Angul 24, Mayurbhanj 19, Sambalpur 14, Puri 12, Balangir 10, Ganjam and Jajpur seven each, Jharsuguda six, Balasore five, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Koraput and Sonepur four each, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur and Rayagada three each, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada two each and Nayagarh one.
In the last 24 hours, 29,260 samples were tested in the State.
With the fresh cases, the number of total active cases mounted to 2246. So far 3,37,091 patients have recovered from the disease.
