The new cases included 19 children in the age group of 0-18 years and, of the total, 84 were detected from among the quarantined people and the rest 57 infections as local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda recorded highest 58 cases, followed by Cuttack 12, Kendrapara 10, Deogarh 9, Sundergarh 8, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur and Sambalpur 4 each, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Nuapada 3 each, Angul and Jharsuguda 2 each and Balasore, Bolangir, Keonjhar, Nayagarh and Puri 1 each.
Besides, 11 cases were reported from the State Pool.
During the period, 174 patients recovered, taking the State’s total recoveries to 10,43,219. Active cases stood at 1,784.
