Of the 105 new cases, 62 were detected from among the quarantined people and the rest 43 as locals contacts, stated the Information and Public Relations Department on Monday.
Among districts, Khordha reported the highest 48 cases, followed by Mayurbhanj 10, Jajpur and Keonjhar five each, Cuttack, Ganjam and Kendrapada four each, Angul, Bargarh, Nayagarh and Sambalpur two each and Balasore, Bhadrak, Kandhamal and Sundargarh reported one case each.
The data showed that the cases were reported from 15 of total 30 districts of the State.
Besides, 12 cases were detected from the State Pool.
The fresh cases pushed the State’s positive tally to 10,50,354.
During the period, 212 patients recovered from the virus, taking the State’s total recoveries to 10,39,673. Active cases stood at 2,205.
A total of 2,40,74,222 sample tests have been done so far to detect Covid cases.
