According to the information, the Prime Minister has already visited Odisha after the general elections conducted in May-June this year. He graced the swearing-in ceremony of the first BJP government on June 12. He came to the State and launched the State government's flagship programme, Subhadra Yojana, on his birthday on September 17. He then came to the State and attended the DG/IGP Conference in November.
It will be his fourth visit to Odisha while he will pay a three-day visit from January 8 to 10 to attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammilani.
Sources also revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Odisha from January 28 to 29 to attend the 'Utkarsha Odisha Conclave'.
Many view that the Prime Minister's frequent visits to Oidsha will be a game-changer in enhancing the State's economic growth.
