In a tweet, the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said: “An upper air cyclonic circulation likely to form over South Andaman Sea & neighbourhood on 06th April. Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal during subsequent 24 hours.”

Meanwhile, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today forecast that several districts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rains during the next three days.
Following the rain, dry weather will persist for the next two days, said the latest bulletin.
There will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 4-5 days. It will be above normal by 2 to 3 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of interior Odisha during next 4-5 days, the bulletin added.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of 42.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Balangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 21 degree Celsius was recorded at Bhadrak, said the bulletin.
