Mumbai, April 28: Taapsee Pannu showcased her mastery of various aerial yoga poses on silk fabrics, effortlessly creating shapes with absolute ease.

On Sunday morning, Taapsee took to Instagram to share a video of herself practicing aerial yoga.

The actress is dressed in blue athleisure attire, perfectly complementing the shades of the silk fabric she was performing on.

Taapsee captioned it: "WIP," an acronym for “Work in Progress.”

The video features “Symphonia” by Mozart playing in the background.

Aerial yoga seamlessly blends traditional asanas and yoga philosophies with the art of aerial acrobatics, utilising silk fabrics or ropes suspended above to assist practitioners in creating various shapes.

The actress, who got married to her longtime beau Mathias Boe in March, is set to appear in the upcoming sequel 'Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba', the second instalment of 'Haseen Dilruba'.

The film also features Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Kimmy Sheirgill in pivotal roles.

Market Outlook For Next Week, Key Events To Watch

New Delhi, May 12: Indian equity indices were in deep red last week, following FII selling and volatility in the market.

Due to this, Sensex and Nifty closed at a three-week low of 72,644 points and 22,055 points respectively.

The Nifty small-cap and midcap index witnessed a fall of around 5 per cent and 2.75 per cent respectively.

FII outflows were significant, exceeding Rs 22,000 crore last week. While domestic institutional investors (DIIs) did buy Indian stocks to the tune of Rs 17,000 crore, their buying wasn't enough to offset the selling by FIIs.

Global and domestic economic data coming next week will play a big role. Wholesale and retail inflation figures will be released in India.

Globally, the upcoming US PPI, retail sales, jobless claims, Fed Chairman's speech, and core inflation data will be a key event to watch.

China's industrial production data and Japan's GDP figures round out the important releases for the week.

Arvinder Singh Nanda, Senior Vice President of Master Capital Services said, "The Nifty index has been trading within a broad range of 21,750 to 22,800 over the past few months, and it's currently approaching the lower end of this range, a critical support level at 21,750 for the short term."

"With a decisive break below the immediate support at 22,300 observed on Thursday, the Nifty is anticipated to experience further downward movement in the short term." (IANS)

BJP Holds Bike Rally In Delhi Ahead Of Polling On May 25

New Delhi, May 12: Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva and Union Minister General VK Singh flagged off a bike rally in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi here in National Capital.

The rally organised by the Sikh community was led by party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa.

This comes nearly two weeks ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in the National Capital and a day after the Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal attacked PM Modi, alleging, "He left no stone unturned to crush his party."

All seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi will vote on May 25. Aam Admi Party and Congress are jointly fighting the elections. As per the arrangement, AAP will be contesting 4 seats and Congress on 3.

"The youth has taken out a bike rally to show support of the Sikh community for PM Narendra Modi (for Delhi Lok Sabha seats). He has made untiring efforts to strengthen our community, be it taking action against the 1984 riots accused, making the Kartarpur Sahib corridor, celebrating Veer Bal Diwas to remember the sacrifice of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh, or rescuing the Sikh community from Afghanistan...," Sirsa told ANI amid the rally.

He also lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

"Arvind Kejriwal has been frustrated ever since he came out of jail and that is why he has been lying. He was not in jail in 2014 or 2019...," he said.

Union Minister General VK Singh told ANI, "We have to give a message to the people of Delhi that Modi-led government should come to power for the third time and that the Sikhs are standing in support."

CM Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs in the national capital on Sunday. This will be his first meeting with legislatures after he walked out of Tihar Jail. He was granted interim bail on Friday till June 1.

The Supreme Court on Friday gave interim bail to the Aam Admi Party convenor till June 1. However, as per the terms of his bail, the Delhi Chief Minister cannot make any comment about his role in the Delhi liquor scam case. (ANI)

BJP, Congress Intensify Campaign For Lucknow East Assembly Bypoll

Lucknow, May 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have intensified their campaigns for the bypoll on the Lucknow East Assembly seat, polling for which will be held on May 20 during the fifth phase of Lok Sabha election.

The Lucknow East seat fell vacant following the death of BJP MLA Ashutosh Tandon, son of former MP late Lalji Tandon.

BJP first won this seat in 1991 when Bhagwati Prasad Shukla won the Assembly elections. Since then, BJP has maintained a stronghold on this seat.

BJP has fielded O. P. Srivastava, who currently serves on the State Working Committee and holds the position of State Convener of the Lifelong Support Fund Department. He has previously served as treasurer in the Awadh region.

Srivastava said: “Everyone knows that the election is for Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and I am just a candidate. For BJP, it is a test of our ability to maintain a stronghold in the Assembly segment where we have traditionally performed well.”

Highlighting BJP’s developmental achievements, Srivastava mentioned: “The BJP has undertaken development works that no other government was able to accomplish in the past. From constructing big flyovers to building giant nullahs, all major projects were completed during the BJP regime. The Outer Ring Road is now complete and connectivity is not an issue. The BJP has demonstrated to the residents how development is achieved.”

The INDIA (Congress) candidate for the seat is Mukesh Singh Chauhan, a three-time corporator, who is well-connected with the residents of the area.

“I am working on the ground, meeting every voter in a door-to-door campaign. My campaign is running on the ground, while the BJP contestant is still in the air, as if he has won the election in advance. However, I have met voters in Indira Nagar, Gomti Nagar, Vikas Nagar, and other areas and everyone wants change,” said Chauhan.
