New Delhi, June 2: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday has given its ex-post facto approval for signing and ratification of an agreement on 'Cooperation in the field of Mass Media' between all the member states of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: Manisha Padhi, a woman Indian Air Force officer from Odisha, has been appointed India's first Woman Aide-De-Camp(ADC) from the Indian Armed Forces.
Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed Manisha Padhi, a 2015 batch Indian Air Force Officer, as India's first Woman Aide-De-Camp.
A native of Berhampur in Odisha, Padhi is an alumnus of the CV Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar.
Her parents still reside in Bhubaneswar.
Earlier, Padhi was posted at Air Force Station in Bidar, Air Force Station in Pune, and Air Force Station in Bhatinda.
“Her appointment is not just a milestone but a testament to the power of women breaking gender norms and excelling in different fields. Let’s celebrate this remarkable achievement and continue to champion women’s empowerment in every sphere,” Governor Kambhampati wrote on his X handle.

Padhi has formally joined her post, reported to the Governor, and was introduced to the Raj Bhavan, Mizoram officers and staff.
Cuttack, Nov 30: The price of 22-Karat sees a fall in last 24 hours as the 10 grams of the yellow metal was traded at around Rs 60,200 on Thursday.
In Odisha, the price of yellow metal 22K (10 grams) traded at Rs 60,200 while the price of 20K (10 grams) stood at Rs 54,700.
Likewise, 18K gold (10 grams) stood at Rs 49,600. The price of 14K gold (10 grams) stood at Rs 39,100.
In Cuttack, the GST 995 yellow metal traded at Rs 6,455 per gram and the ready 995 gold prices stood at Rs 6,280 per gram.
The price of silver metal also sees a fall. The price of LRS silver stood at Rs 77,100 and the price of 9999 silver stood at Rs 77,600.
It may be noted that the gold price can vary as per the MCX and dealer to dealer.
Gold is considered an important part of India's economy and social life due to its cultural significance, investment values, and its traditional role in weddings and festivals.

Nabarangpur, Nov 30: There would be barely anyone who doesn't know of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). Hosted by actor Amitabh Bachchan, KBC has become a unianimous hit among the Indians. Many contestants over the years have tried to get selected in the show and grab the Crorepati title by answering the questions.
Recently, Saswat Pattnaik (13) of Umerkote in Nabarangpur district reached the hot seat and won Rs 12,50,000 from the coveted competition. A student of Class 8 in Adarsh Vidyalaya, Pattnaik participated in the KBC 15 Junior, a format for the children. Saswat decided to quit the show when he was bowled the question 'Which 17th century scientist created the first known scientific description of a dinosaur fossil?' thus taking home Rs 12,50,000.
His happiness knew no bounds when he received a call from the quiz show. In a first for Umerkote, Saswat has made the citizens and Odisha proud for this achievement. Saswat was successful in impressing Mr. Bachchan with his game, thus receiving accolades from him.
He said he regards Mr. Bachchan as his role model. He said ,"Bachchan sir kept his hand on my shoulder and chatted with me off-screen also."
"I draw inspiration from my father, who has been trying for the past 23 years to play the game. This year he asked me to participate in the game, and by Lord Jagannath's grace I got through the process and received a call from KBC team", said Saswat.
He added," I want to thank my mother also for instilling the Odia culture in me. She helped me to balance my emotions and not get overwhelmed by the competition. My mother says Participation is more important than winning."
It is worth mentioning that when Saswat got selected for the hot seat after playing the fastest finger first he hailed 'Jai Jagannath' multiple times.
