According to information, 28 MLAs and 600 others, including Assembly employees, had given samples for the RT-PCR test. Test results of all 28 MLAs have come negative. Six persons, other than MLAs, have tested positive for the virus, said Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro.
Patro reiterated that all concerned who will test negative for the coronavirus would be allowed to enter Assembly premises during the ensuing Monsoon Session starting November 20.
Notably, all MLAs, their drivers and Personal Security Officers (PSOs), Assembly employees and journalists have been asked to undergo Covid tests to enter Assembly premises. For this, a special Covid test drive started on Tuesday and will continue till November 19.
