According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 11 patients recovered in Sambalpur district, followed by seven each in Baleswar, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh, six in Khordha, four each in Angul and Jajpur, three each in Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Nayagarh, two each in Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Nabarangpur and Puri and one each recovered in Bargarh, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Koraput and Sonepur district.
Besides, two recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State didn’t witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,918 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,38,258 after 66 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 66 new cases, 39 were detected from among quarantined persons and 27 detected as local contacts.
